UFC World Reacts to Footage of Ciryl Gane Almost Dropping His Coach: “Lopez Is Not Jon Jones”

As UFC 285 gets closer, all eyes are set on Jon Jones‘s comeback to the UFC. The former light heavyweight champ has been away from the cage for the last three years, but he has a formidable career record that can never be discounted. While he would be eager to restart his career with a win. It won’t be a cakewalk. On his opposite corner, ‘Bones’ will have the heavyweight #1, Ciryl Gane. ‘Bon Gamin’ is considered one of the fastest strikers in the division. His striking prowess was on display once again in a video that has surfaced on Instagram. In a recent video, we saw Gane landing combos of kicks and punches on his padded coach.

Jon Jones will not take the UFC 285 fight lightly. Gane is undefeated in his Muay Thai career with 13 wins. In his Pro- MMA career, Ciryl Gane has amassed 11 wins and the only loss he has faced was against the very talented Francis Ngannou.

The video shared on Instagram has attracted many reactions from fans. While a section of fans was left impressed with the striking prowess shown by Gane, another section felt things won’t be the same when Jon Jones enters the cage against Ciryl Gane.

Another Gane fan said, “He definitely looking more smooth and faster than Jon lazy bones jones”.

A fan went on to claim that Ciryl Gane was the best heavyweight striker around. The fan commented, “Prob the best heavyweight striker in the world rn. Extremely fluid and a ton in his arsenal.”

There were fans, however, who thought ‘Bones’ will come out on top in the match-up. A fan commented, “So you’ll think Jones gonna look like that coach? that man is old Gane better tire him out”.

Another fan said, “López is not Jon jones bones is going to give him a wrestling lesson”

A fan said pointed out how Jones‘ fighting style will render his opponent’s strikes waste, “Jones doesn’t stand in a range like that you’d never get the combo off to begin with”
