However, the legendary announcer, in fact, performs a ritual of warm-up exercises before he goes on with the announcements.

Recently, @blackbeltmma, an MMA fight news profile, shared a video of the warm-up rituals followed by the ‘Voice of UFC’. In the video, Buffer could be seen vibing to the music, all the while warming up his mouth. Furthermore, he rolled over his shoulders and took deep breaths. Finally, he stretched his chest and shoulders using the cage. It, in fact, looked as though the announcer was getting ready for a fight.

The fans, however, were not lagging behind to comment. They displayed their affection for the man behind the microphone. Nevertheless, some fans believed that Buffer was seemingly getting ready for a fight.

Buffer is not only prompt in announcements, but also in fighting. A few months back, ESPN MMA shared a short video clip of the announcer working on a bag. He showed off a few combinations of punches. Jabs, crosses, hooks, and uppercuts, he showed them all. Finally, the video concluded with Buffer’s kicks to the bag.

While the announcer is loved throughout the MMA world for his voice, his skills in fighting are nothing short of amazing. He has a black belt in Tang Soo Do and even used to compete in kickboxing fights.
