The current chapter of UFC star Khamzat Chimaev’s MMA career has baffled fans and analysts. The Russian fighter has put up dominant performances one after the other since his UFC debut in 2020. Arguably, the biggest fight of his MMA career came up against Gilbert Burns, where he won via a unanimous decision.

After this, Chimaev was all set to face one of UFC’s most popular faces, Nate Diaz, at UFC 279. However, ‘Borz’ ended up missing weight by 8 lbs, which led to the entire fight card being reshuffled. Chimaev faced Kevin Holland instead and won the match via first-round submission.

Unfortunately, fans have not seen Chimaev back in the ring since then. Nobody knows why Chimaev is not more active in the UFC. Dana White later announced Chimaev’s move to the middleweight division. But ‘Borz’ has been way more active on social media than inside the octagon lately.
