The UFC returns to Vegas yet again for its second Fight Night card of October. The main event of the Apex card at the UFC Headquarters will see a fantastic middleweight clash between the Brazilian dynamo and #14 ranked Michel Pereira and #13 Anthony Hernandez, both of whom are on impressive win streaks (eight in the case of Pereira and five for Hernandez). And as the exciting card full of some very interesting matchups draws closer, many are wondering how much the stars on it will get paid. In this article, we try and answer that exact question.
But before we discuss fighter salaries, it is important to remember that fighter salaries are not disclosed by the UFC. The figures in this article are best estimates based on previously reported purses. Fighter pay has two main components- show money, which is guaranteed to the fighter for making weight, and win bonus, which is often the same amount as the show money and is given only if a fighter wins.

Michel Pereira, who fought unranked middleweight Ihor Potieria at UFC 301 earlier this year reportedly earned $200k along with a $50k Performance Bonus for his first-round standing guillotine submission victory over the Ukrainian. Interestingly, this was ‘Demolidor’s fourth consecutive fight where he won a $50k bonus.
Based on the Potieria clash, it is likely the Brazilian will get paid around $100k in show money with another $100k on offer as a win bonus along with any bonuses he may earn. On the other hand, Hernandez made a reported $132k for defeating Roman Kopylov in their UFC 298 clash.

Bantamweight veteran Rob Font will face young and upcoming Kyler Phillips in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 99. Font reportedly made $261k for his UFC 287 win over Adrian Yanez, which included a $100k win bonus, and a $50k Performance bonus.

And the #10 ranked American is likely to make around $100k in show money and another $100k if he defeats Phillips. On the other hand, ‘The Matrix’ made $132k for his last fight, which he won. Phillips will likely make the same amount, i.e., $60k in show money and a $60k win bonus on the Vegas card.
Another cracking flyweight clash between #7 ranked Matheus Nicolau and #14 Asu Alambayev will open the main card. Nicolau reportedly made $110k for his Fight Night win over Alex Perez earlier this year, and will most likely make the same amount to fight Alambayev. Information about Alambayev’s previous purses or how much he is likely to make in the Nicolau fight, however, is unknown. What are your predictions for UFC Vegas 99?
