UFC Vegas 105 will be headlined by the featherweight fight between Josh Emmett and Lerone Murphy this weekend. As the event will be held at UFC Apex, there will be no audience to cheer for their favorite MMA athletes. But their walkout songs could be music that is a mix of every genre. From rap to heavy metal, Vegas 105 will have everything.

Soundtracks are just as much a part of the action as the combat itself. Conor McGregor’s entrance song, a remix of late Sinead O’Connor and The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Foggy Dew/Hypnotize,” and Alex ‘Poatan’ Pereira’s “Itsari” by a Brazilian thrash metal band Sepultura, are already iconic. Now, let’s see what songs will be heard in the next UFC Fight Night event.

Josh Emmett and Lerone Murphy walkout songs

Josh Emmett used the song “Sky’s the Limit” by reggae-rock band Rebelution from Isla Vista, California, in his latest fight against Bryce Mitchell at UFC 296. On the other hand, Lerone Murphy rattled the arena with “Ambitionz Az a Ridah,” a legendary song by the great American rapper Tupac, in his headlining fight at UFC Vegas 92, where he unanimously beat Edson Barboza.

Josh Emmett never spoke publicly about why he selected that song as his walkout song. Something to watch for, which is somewhat intriguing, is Emmett’s connection with Sacramento, California, which he is fighting his way out of and the band just so happens to be from there as well, so there could be an emotional connection.

Lerone Murphy also has never disclosed the reason behind his choice for his walkout music, but Nate Diaz has also used “Ambitionz Az a Ridah” for his entrance against Conor McGregor at UFC 202 main event. So, the undefeated Brit could also be inspired him along with his love for rap music, of course.

Walkout music of Pat Sabatini, Kennedy Nzechukwu and other fighters

Pat Sabatini is set to face Joeanderson Brito at the co-headliner of UFC Vegas 105. In his last fight, Sabatini walks out to “Iron Man,” a classic song by the early metal band Black Sabbath. Meanwhile, his opponent, Brito, is currently using “Tubarao Te Amo,” a song by Ryan SP, MC Daniel, MC RF, MC Jhenny, and Tchakabum.

Kennedy Nzechukwu is scheduled to face Martin Buday in a heavyweight showdown. ‘African Savage’s walkout is an uplifting song called “This Year (Blessing)” by Victor Thompson and Ehis D Greatest, and Buday usually walks out a rap song, “New Level” by A$AP Ferg feat. Future, signaling he is levels above everyone.

The card also features a high-profile middleweight bout between Geral Meerschaert and Brad Tavares. Meerschaert’s walkout music is “99 Red Balloons” by Goldfinger, a classic hit from the 2000s. His opponent, Brad Tavares, also happens to have good musical taste, as his walkout music is “Tears” by Alborosie feat. Wendy Rene.
