Prochazka, fondly known as ‘Denisa,’ last fought in June 2022. During his last fight, he defeated Pereira’s training partner, Glover Teixeira via submission in the 5th round. Although the victory was a hard-fought one for the 31-year-old, he will take some confidence into the fight. However, the fighter faced a setback when he relinquished his title because of an injury. Saturday’s fight is a chance of redemption for him, and he will try to come out on top.

Standing in his way is World No.2 Alex Pereira. The Brazilian is renowned for his Muay Thai skills and his striking ability. Pereira came into the limelight when he beat former champ Jan Blachowicz in his 205 debut. He has a career record of (8-2) to date. Both fighters are entirely different in their fighting styles. Pereira has less experience as a fighter; however, ‘Denisa’ has a slight advantage in terms of experience. Both have a lean frame and have a long reach.

Saturday will prove to be a battle of tactics. Both fighters need to be careful, as both can knock out their opponents. Known for his unorthodox fighting style, Prochazka can turn the tables quickly. Will he play the waiting game and wait for Pereira to make a mistake? Or will he launch a counterattack and take Pereira by surprise? The world is waiting to watch the spectacle unfold itself on Saturday.
