Amanda Ribas hasn’t competed inside the UFC Octagon since her UFC 257 loss to Marina Rodriguez. That loss ended her 5-fight winning streak in the strawweight division of the UFC. After four months out of the sport, Ribas recently took to social media to issue a call out to fellow contender, Yan Xiaonan.
“Heyy @yanxiaonan how are you?I was thinking..almost all fighters in our weight division have a scheduled fight..How about schedule ours too?I think it would be a GREAAT fight @ufc @UFCNews @danawhite @Mickmaynard2 @ribasfight @Alexdavismma @MMAjunkie @espnmma @canalCombate,” wrote Ribas in a Twitter post.

Ribas’s last win in the UFC was against Paige VanZant at UFC 251. Xiaonan, on the other hand, lost her last fight against Carla Esparza in May. Because of that loss, the 32-year-old Chinese fighter surrendered her unbeaten UFC record.

‘Fury‘ has an overall professional record of 13-2 with 5 finishes. All of her finishes have come by the way of T/KO. Ribas, too, has an impressive record of 10-2. The 27-year-old Brazilian has a total of 7 finishes in her record. 3 T/KO and 4 submission wins comprise those numbers for her.
