Even though McGregor wrote an apology after the cancellation of the press conference, the circumstances were undisclosed. This made fans and veterans worried about the fight. Till now everyone has been speculating different scenarios where they think the fight is canceled due to an apparent injury that Mcgregor is facing, or because of his lack of training and alcohol/drug problems.

Insider reveals the real scenario with Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler fight

UFC ex-fighter Michael Bisping uploaded a new video on his YouTube channel giving a breakdown of the much-awaited fight. Despite the press conference being canceled for now, the MMA artist/actor stated that the fight is on. He said, “The reality is the fight is on. Because as I said the promotional stuff it’s all back up there. They wouldn’t do that if the fight wasn’t still going ahead.”

Bisping explained the whole story, stating how everyone thought that ‘The Notorious’ must have hurt the same leg that he hurt while fighting Dustin Poirier in his last fight two years ago.

The 45-year-old was in Atlanta while shooting the video along with Justin Gaethje and Kamaru Usman and hinted that even those veterans thought the fight wouldn’t go on as scheduled. However, Bisping gave the good news, “I have heard from sources that I won’t reveal I’ve heard in no uncertain terms it’s done he’s injured. The leg that was issue that he snapped in 2021 apparently, was the issue. Also, we thought so we were told so we were misinformed or misled.”

Johnson saw the footage carefully and broke down the technicalities of McGregor’s sparring prowess. “The guy shot in, he failed. He [Conor] brings him up, knee to the face, right there. Watch what he does, he creates some distance, he measures with this hand right here, he’s measuring. Look at his stance, his stance is ready to go,” Johnson said in his YouTube video.

‘Mystic Mac’ seems to be training to hone his skills in takedowns which is a weak suit for Chandler since the latter is better on his feet. DJ thinks Mcgregor can beat Chandler on June 29 because of his style. With all the hype around the fight, are you excited to watch the D-day?
