Conor McGregor demands more fight after his comeback

The last time Conor McGregor stepped inside the Octagon he was injured so badly that it forced him to stay out of the Octagon for a period of 3 years. Nonetheless, the former dual-weight champion is finally making a comeback and seems like he will not be satisfied with just a Michael Chandler fight this year. The 35-year-old has demanded more fights from Dana White while specifically eyeing the UFC sphere.

Well, it’s just natural that he wants to stay more active considering his hiatus. In his latest escapade, McGregor emphasized that he wants more than Dana White despite the fact that his contract is restricted to only two fights. While having a conversation with ‘The Mac Life’, McGregor said, “You know, we’ve got, we’ve got the, the… what’s his name? Chandler. June, obviously. September is Mexican Independence Day. Potentially someone with Mexican heritage?”

He further added, “Maybe Diaz would be perfect. I don’t know. The internet kind of thought that would be a lovely one. I’m for anyone, any one of them, that’s the truth. I don’t really care who it is. I just, I’m back. I want activity, and, you know, I’ve said this before, and God’s willing, please, this is the time.

While having a conversation with ‘Duelbits’, a fan asked McGregor about his plans for the future after the Chandler fight. The 35-year-old didn’t stutter as he was clear that he wanted three fights this year by hook or by crook. “Straight away, I will be back in September. The Sphere is going on, and Mexican Independence Day—you know what I’m looking for,” said McGregor.

He further added, “I’m looking for opponents for that. I would love the Diaz trilogy for that. I have said it publicly. Diaz and Masvidal are fighting in a boxing bout. I’m looking for opponents. June 29th, September 5th (Mexican Independence Day), and then December. Three bouts this year. Now, I say this because God willing…” I have two fights left in my UFC contract. I’m currently in the negotiations stage with the UFC let’s see what happens.”
