How far do you think a fighter is willing to go for the octagon? Jiri Prochazka is someone who always takes it to the extreme levels. He is one of the most strong and unique fighters with a spiritual streak to him. Very few fighters are there who have a spiritual side to them, like the 31-year-old. He has some very unconventional methods to help him prepare for any competition for the octagon. The former UFC light heavyweight champ is always dedicated to gaining his pure fighter spirit and completely cleansing his mind and body before getting inside the octagon and for this, he uses some pretty unique procedures.
Prochazka’s fans are aware of this practice since he has done these processes before. What do these include? Well, primarily he locks himself up inside a room for days to serve a complete reboot of his system. He again updated his fans about this practice recently and they have their speculations about his opponent.
The 31-year-old recently uploaded an Instagram post to announce that he has returned to the process of isolating himself before starting the training for his next bout. He went three whole days without light and even food to reset his mind before the fight camp.

This is not anything new, and he has done this before as well. The Czech star punched trees and meditated under natural waterfalls before fighting Aleksandar Rakic. He won against Rakic in UFC 300 in a spectacular way, so his methods must be working for him. Meanwhile, the no food and no light for three days might seem like a breeze to what he attempted a week ago. The fighter rubbed poison ivy on himself, claiming that it boosts immunity.
Now, meditating under waterfalls is one thing, but rubbing poison ivy to the skin and not eating food for three days is extreme. Who might he be preparing for? Well, fans had their answer, and it was Jamahal Hill.

Jamahal Hill took to his official Twitter handle to speak about his loss to Alex Pereira in UFC 300. He even apparently called on Prochazka to face him for the next bout. “I dared to be great against adversity and a great challenge and came up short at the highest level in the world!!! I answered the call twice on short notice to fight for a championship that most will never fight for!!! On to the next @jiri_bjp least final make it happen!!” Hill tweeted.
Considering the tweet by the UFC 300 fighter and the intense training sessions by Prochazka, it did not take much time for the fans to conclude that the two fighters could play against each other at UFC 303. One fan questioned, “Is he fighting Hill?” while another chimed in, “he’s fighting Hill on McNuggets card.”
A section of people also seemed shocked by the extreme measures taken by the fighter before entering the octagon. A social media user wrote, “Might be the scariest human on earth.” One bewildered fan questioned his choices and said, “Without food, and light, he’s fighting for what? And focusing on what ?” If the fighter can endure the burns and itches of poison ivy for immunity, then no food and light for three days would be a piece of cake for him.
