Rumors are floating around the narrow roads and crevices of the MMA world that Dan Hooker has been roped in to fight the number two-ranked lightweight fighter, Charles Oliveira. Interestingly, ‘The Hangman’ has spoken about this aspect recently and given a little update on what he wants. He had replied to a fan previously about this and said, “You can officially kiss my *ss I’m fighting Charlie olives.” However, there was no official announcement from the UFC. Meanwhile, since the fighter has already spoken about it and is still interested in fighting Olivera, fans can have a slight hope that this matchup might happen in December.
The Instagram page of MMA pros pick uploaded a snippet of his interview with Sky Sports where he again declared his desire to fight ‘Do Bronx.’ Hooker said, “And then I fight Charles Oliveira, that looks like the most likely option to happen. You are one fight of the title shot. Charles Oliveira is the one who my management is looking for. Just because the title fight is locked in and Islam is injured at the moment. That’s moved that fight further down the road. Arman vs Islam that’s for the title. And then the winner of me and Charles fight the winner of that.”

He said, “Oh, well, I was actually—um—they flew me over to do Volk shows there, like a show they do, like the Volk Sports show. We were on the show, and then they asked if Volk had anything coming up, and he had to be like, “Nah, I got nothing coming up.” Then they asked me, “Do you have anything coming up?” I didn’t want to be boring, so I kind of just spun a bit of a yarn. I said, “Well, actually, I do have something to announce.”
