What’s more – luck seems to be favoring the #6 Walker – he’s on a 3-fight win streak! On the other hand, his rival in the 205 weight class hasn’t fought a single bout this year.

Walker had quite the stunning win back in May at UFC Charlotte, over former title challenger Anthony Smith, in the co-main event. With a strikingly unorthodox approach compared to his early style, a patient Walker came out on top.

But Dana White was unhappy about the Brazilian’s complacency in finishing his opponent. After the event, White lauded Walker for the win but criticized him for not going for the finish.
