‘The City of Light’ will be shining down upon the Octagon as the UFC heads to Paris for UFC Fight Night 243! Set to go down at the renowned Accor Arena, this will be the third time the UFC will be making a stop in Paris. The first ever UFC event in the country was held in 2022 at the same arena and was headlined by a heavyweight bout between Ciryl Gane and Tai Tuivasa.
With its remarkable success, the promotion followed it up in 2023 with UFC Fight Night 226. Who was the headliner? None other than Gane as he took on Serghei Spivac! This time the French heavyweight star isn’t on the card, but the event still promises thrilling matchups. Headlining the event will be Renato Moicano and French lightweight Benoit Saint Denis. But what are the estimated payouts for this card?

In a battle of elite lightweights, Renato Moicano and Benoit Saint Denis will throw down in the main event for UFC Paris. Moicano currently holds the no.11 spot and Saint Denis is close behind him at no. 12. On the line? A chance to break into the top 10 and continue their journey towards the elusive UFC gold!
But how much does ‘Money Moicano’ make for his UFC fights? According to information available on MMA Salaries, for his UFC 300 outing against Jalin Turner, the Brazilian fighter earned a base salary of $90,000 and a $90,000 win bonus. Since he finished his opponent with a spectacular TKO in the second round, he also got a $100,000 performance bonus to go along with his $11,000 sponsorship payout. In total, he walked away from UFC 300 with an impressive $291,000. So, it’s reasonable to assume that this time around, he’ll be making the same base salary.
Now let’s shift our focus over to Benoit Saint-Denis. The rising French MMA star last stepped into the Octagon at UFC 299 against Dustin Poirier. While he ended up losing the fight, he took home a base salary of $200,000 and a $50,000 performance bonus. With $6,000 from his sponsorship pay-outs, he walked away with a total purse of $256,000. As such, the same base salary might apply to his UFC Paris fight against Moicano.

The co-main for UFC Paris is a middleweight clash between Nassourdine Imavov and Brendan Allen! Holding the no.4 spot in the 185 lbs. division, Imavov is currently on a two-fight win streak and is looking to continue his momentum. For his UFC on ESPN 57 bout against Jared Cannonier, Imavov secured $126,000 for prevailing over ‘Tha Killa Gorilla’ which included a $63,000 win bonus.
Meanwhile, no.8 ranked middleweight Brendan Allen has been undefeated since 2022 and is currently on a 7-fight win streak! According to information provided by Marca, Allen took home $85,000 as a base salary for his fight against Bruno Silva in 2023. Since then, he’s won two more fights and we can estimate that for UFC Paris, he might be getting a bump to the number given above.

Other fighters like Kevin Jousset, who last earned $28,000 for his bout against Song Kenan at UFC Vegas 83 are expected to make the same this time around. His opponent? Bryan Battle, who last fought at UFC Vegas 88 against Ange Loosa, is expected to secure a base salary of around $48,000 according to information by Marca. Both fighters are hungry, and with their earnings on the rise, every punch, kick, and takedown counts toward building their bank accounts and reputations!
While UFC Paris may not have Ciryl Gane this time, the event is packed with storylines, from Moicano and Saint Denis’s lightweight showdown to the middleweight clash between Imavov and Allen.
