UFC News: Tom Aspinall Puts Brock Lesnar Beside Alex Pereira and Jon Jones as the Interim Champ Is Left Without Title Shot by Dana White

Tom Aspinall has been waiting desperately for his much-awaited clash with Jon Jones. He won the fight at UFC 295 and since then has been waiting for his opportunity. However, “Honey Badger” has received no response from the heavyweight champion. Now, the 30-year-old has taken it upon himself to find his next opponent and has come up with a unique find. 

Aspinall recently took to his Instagram to share the lists of opponents he has in mind for his next fight. UFC CEO Dana White is yet to announce the next fight for Aspinall. Let us find out who the interim champion has in mind next. 

Tom Aspinall has Brock Lesnar in his options for the next opponent

Tom Aspinall rose to fame after he put up a dominant show against Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295. Aspinall accepted the fight in a concise notice after the main event between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic was called off. Jones suffered an injury in training, thus forcing him to withdraw from the fight. However, the lack of preparation did not affect the performance of the 30-year-old fighter as he walked out of the Octagon as an Interim Heavyweight Champion.

Since his impressive performance at UFC 295, Aspinall has been waiting for his next big fight with ” Bones.” However, besides Jones, he has selected Alex Pereira and Brock Lesnar as his next opponents in his recent Instagram story. Lesner, currently retired from the sport, was once a feared fighter in the heavyweight division. He also won the heavyweight title after defeating Randy Couture. However, he was last seen at UFC 141 against Alistair Overeem and since then has been on a break.

With Aspinall desperate to get into a big fight and UFC CEO Dana White adamant about staging Jones vs Miocic next. It will be interesting to see who he faces next.

 Tom Aspinall and current heavyweight champion Jon Jones have been going against each other on Social Media for quite some time now. Aspinall, desperate to get a response from Jones, has been trying to get under the champion’s skin. However, Jones has clarified in his recent post that he is focused on Stipe Miocic next. Stipe Miocic is a two-time heavyweight champion, and facing him will be a much better option for Jones.

” Honey Badger” has now shifted his focus to current light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira and former champion Brock Lesnar. ” Poatan” was in the news recently after he showed willingness to move to the heavyweight division. He even sized up Aspinall at the UFC 295 press conference. With the 30-year-old desperate to get into a big fight.
