For the people who believe that Tom Aspinall is yet to achieve greatness before claiming the heavyweight title. Let us remind you that the fighter has a record of 15 victories and 3 defeats in his professional career, has 14 first-round finishes, and has never seen the third round ever in his professional career. In addition to that he has a 100% finish rate. Well, despite his tremendous feats, the top brass of the promotion are hell-bent on making the Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic fight.

Witnessing this, the interim heavyweight world champion took to his YouTube handle to make a statement against Dana White and Jon Jones. “This week, actually, we’ve got a cracking video coming up. We’re going to clap back—we’re clapping back at Jon Jones. We’re after Jon Jones; we want the Jon Jones fight around here. We’re trying to make it happen. The fans want to see it happen, everyone wants to see it happen,” said Tom Aspinall.

He further added, “Apparently, according to Mr. Dana White—the boss, the boss man, the CEO, the main dog, the best—not just the best Mixed Martial Arts promoter, but the best Combat Sports promoter ever—is saying that Jon Jones is the pound-for-pound number one. How do I feel about that? How do I feel about fighting the pound-for-pound number one in the world? Make sure you like and subscribe; you’re going to find out this week. I’m going to reply to Dana White. I’m going to reply to Jon Jones, and we’re coming for you, man.”

Well, the heavyweight champ took to his X handle to add a cheeky X-post for Tom Aspinall. He wrote, “Supply and demand at its finest, I love it.” The fighter is expected to defend his title against Stipe Miocic soon but will he retire or carry on with his legacy? Dana White has an answer for that, “After Stipe and Jon fight, whoever wins, the Aspinall fight is even bigger… Jon Jones always loves to challenge himself, moved up to heavyweight. I don’t know what Jon Jones will do after this fight, but I would be shocked if he didn’t want to test himself against Aspinall,” said White.
