Joe Rogan back at UFC 306—Is this the best commentary team we've ever seen?

The celebration of Mexico’s Independence Day coincides with one of the largest upcoming combat sports events. For many years, boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez has been a symbol of his heritage and will look to prove his valor in the weekend leading up to September 16. Not to back down from a challenge, UFC has made great strides in taking a slice of the pie with their showcase event set in Las Vegas ahead of UFC 306.

The grand spectacle is the first combat event to be held in The Sphere. Dana White & Co. have done their part in ensuring it is one worth remembering. In their efforts to do so, they will reunite fan-favorite commentator trio Joe Rogan, Jon Anik, and Daniel Cormier back in the commentary desk. Notably, there will be a major surprise yet to come as hinted by Anik.

Taking to his X, the UFC commentator hyped up the event by announcing how it would be a brand-new experience for the fans watching at home. As per reports, the UFC would be featuring 90-second short films during the event that would be played after each fight as fillers. This new setup is truly new as usually the commentators provide their insights before and after a fight. A force of habit that will be in check at 306. The prospect of it seems daunting for Anik as he assures fight fans of a historic experience.

He wrote, “Never seen anything like this television format for #NocheUFC @ Sphere in Las Vegas. Intimidated. Wheels up to Las Vegas later today. This will be one to remember to be sure, whether you are in the building or watching from home.” The short films are set to depict the contributions of Mexico toward the sport of MMA as a tribute to the country on it’s Independence Day.

So fans surely are excited to witness the grand spectacle that is the UFC Noche 306. But who are the fighters taking part in the event, where to watch and what are the timings? Well, fret not as we have all the details.
