This year will mark the comeback of the man who arguably put UFC on the world map, Conor Mcgregor. The ‘Mystic Mac’ has been enthusiastic about his return to the octagon. The fighter even announced his return on January 1st of this month against Michael Chandler, however, the real announcement is yet to be confirmed by the head honcho Dana White. With the looming question of whether he would be finally back or not, it seems like Rogan has the answer.
Conor McGregor and Dana White have been working together to make his comeback a grand event and there have been rumors that McGregor could fight around April, fans were excited to witness ‘Notorious’ comeback at the UFC 300 but Rogan seems to have dropped water on the burning desires of the fans.

Conor͏ McGregor last stepped inside the octagon back in July 2021 against his rival Dustin Poirier during UFC 264. The former dual weight champion suffered a career-ending broken foot when he fought against Poirier. The fighter has yet to showcase any dominant performance in these past years. wit͏h just͏ one͏ win ͏in hi͏s last fou͏r ͏fights, and that͏ sole victory came ͏again͏st the UFC Hall of Famer, Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone.
His comeback has been decided but when it is still a mystery and Joe Rogan has put an end to fans’ desires to witness the face of the UFC in the April event. The podcaster while in conversation with Eddie Bravo, Joey Diaz & Brendan Schaub emphasized that there’s no chance to witness McGregor in the UFC 300 event. Rogan said, “The big one was they were trying to get Conor, but he is not gonna be ready by then.”
Interestingly, even Dana White is unsure about McGregor’s return even though he has stated that he is gonna fight in July.
Dana White confirms Conor McGregor will not be fighting in June
Conor McGregor’s anticipated fight was initially scheduled for the UFC 296 event in December. However, it had to be postponed due to several eligibility issues surrounding McGregor. There were speculations that McGregor and Michael Chandler would finally clash at the historic UFC 300 event in April. Unfortunately, this plan also fell through.

UFC CEO Dana White stated during the post-fight press conference for UFC 297 that Conor McGregor will not be participating in the June event as previously expected. When a reporter inquired about McGregor’s status and whether he would make a comeback in June, White provided the following information.“Uhh, no. If and when Conor is ready to fight, you know we’ll announce it.”

He further added “So, McGregor will be back this year, possibly him and Chandler,” White explained to Aaron Bronsteter. “We’ll see how this whole thing plays out.” It must be noted that White has yet to announce 2 more fights for UFC 300. Nonetheless, when do you think McGregor would return?
