When it comes to the debate about the greatest of all time in the sport of MMA, one name that consistently appears is Jon Jones. Even UFC supremo Dana White regards Jon Jones as the absolute best, and his records speak for themselves. However, despite Jones having the narrative to prove that he is the best, there are still some who believe that he has yet to fully prove himself.

Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou were supposed to fight when Ngannou was there in the UFC. However, the fight fell off due to unforeseen circumstances and this gave the MMA community a reason to doubt Jones’s authenticity. Nonetheless, ‘Bones’ has been on a killing spree with his Q&A session on Twitter, and in his latest take, he has shut out his critics.

Jon Jones’ relentless drive to become a champion helped him achieve the light heavyweight belt at the age of 23, a record yet to be broken by anyone since Jones set it. Alongside that, Jones has yet to lose any of his fights in his professional career, and on top of that, the heavyweight champion has the most number of title defenses.

Despite such an impeccable record, even ‘Bones’ had his bad days. Nonetheless, the MMA community raised eyebrows when the Ngannou vs. Jones fight was dropped after high anticipation. The community called out Jones for being afraid of squaring off against ‘The Predator’. Initially, Jones was silent on this matter but seems like the accusations have finally gotten to Jones

In his latest escapade, Jon Jones has come forward to call out everyone who termed that he was afraid to face Francis Ngannou. While responding to the accusations, Jones wrote, “I’m also not allowed to take three years to become a heavyweight and absolutely demolish my first opponent. Nope, that was too long. Screw the flawless Victory”

In addition to the Ngannou jab, Jones called out everyone who labeled the Ciryl Gane fight as tailor-made for him to win. “Lol they all are tailor-made for me, even the close fights. I’m pretty damn good.” wrote Jon Jones on X.
