The UFC is perhaps the most popular mixed martial arts organization in the world, and their latest numbers prove just how big they really are. In a recent update, it was revealed that Dana White and Co. made about $1.3 billion in 2023 in terms of revenue.
Moreover, after their merger with the WWE, the organizations are expecting a combined revenue of $2.65 billion in 2024. The numbers are massive but fans have one concern in their minds still. Are fighters being paid enough for risking their long-term health?
Let’s see it this way. On top of the pyramid, there are fighters such as Conor McGregor who make millions over millions from the UFC alone. The top is a sharp and small place. In comparison, the bottom has a lot of new and upcoming fighters who lie on the opposite end of the spectrum.

Making anywhere between $10,000 to $30,000 per fight, these fighters risk everything to become the biggest stars in the eyes of the people and the UFC head honcho, Dana White. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out just how low these numbers are for someone risking potential injury and spending thousands upon thousands in camp and training.
Not everyone can reel in many eyes to the sport, but does that mean they should get paid so little? That’s exactly the point these fans were trying to make after receiving the billion dollar news. Here’s how some of them decided to approach the situation with Dana White.
Fans want Dana White to up the numbers or provide benefits
UFC fans are loyal to the fighters to a great extent. It shows when they rally together to fight for better fighter pay, something every fighter needs to perform better and to their best potential. Here are some reactions to the Instagram post announcing the numbers.
