The 36-year-old has delivered some brilliant performances inside the Octagon and is entering the fight high on confidence. One of his biggest assets is his wrestling, but it seems he is confident in his striking skills as well. He added, “Because I’m telling you I am levels above him everywhere. Even when people tell me that the only way I can beat him is laying and praying. I’m telling you I can out strike him. I could knock him out. The way that I see this fight going, he’s never fought anybody like me. “

Belal Muhammad feels Islam Makhachev can beat anyone in the welterweight division
Islam Makhachev is currently on a dream run and has defended his title thrice in the lightweight division. However, the 32-year-old now wants to challenge himself and move to the welterweight division. A move to the new division might just see him colliding with his training partner, Belal Muhammad. However, the 36-year-old has ruled out any such possibility in the future and terms him as his younger brother. But the #2 ranked welterweight has warned everyone of his talent.
While speaking to ‘The Schmo’ on his YouTube channel, ‘Remember the Name’ shared why the 32-year-old is a threat. He said, “I think he can literally go up to 185 and win the belt. People don’t know how big he is, how strong he is, and how talented he is. I think if he didn’t have to cut weight, at 185 he could still go out there and beat these guys.”
