Conor McGregor is already in the headlines even before the first episode of The Ultimate Fighter airs. ‘The Notorious’, however, is in the news for all the wrong reasons. The former UFC double champion is being accused of meddling with the TUF candidates in his team. Moreover, the Irishman was also accused of favoritism in his team and adding ‘his’ fighters to his team.

McGregor was blasted by an MMA manager and UFC fighter, Chris Curtis. However, ‘Mystic Mac’ has responded to the accusations and clarified his stance and acts. The UFC superstar does that in his own ‘Notorious’ fashion.

MMA manager Daniel Rubenstein on Twitter accused the Irishman of removing fighters from his team. Moreover, the act was said to be done to make room for ‘Conor McGregor’s fighters’. The MMA manager in a tweet said, “Ken Cross, Mitch Ramirez, and Brandon Jenkins all got pulled off to make room for 3 of Conor’s guy to be on the show”.

UFC middleweight contender Chris Curtis also responded to the tweet. The fighter said, “Most definitely true. What a f*cking a**hole”.

As reported by MMA Junkie, ‘The Notorious’ replied while lashing out at his critics. The Irishman said, “@Actionman513 not true. I only know 1 guy on this show and he put himself forward for it. And he is now, after today, set to fight the No. 1 seed! I didn’t ask nor request nothing! And I certainly didn’t have people removed. I’m just tryna get back in the mix myself so f*ck off.”

The ‘Mystic Mac’ ripped the UFC middleweight with his tweet. It remains to be seen what happens when further news relating to the contestants if the Ultimate Fighter emerges.
