Yan doesn’t have a fixed song that he walks out to, with him choosing different songs for different UFC events. Back at UFC 299, when ‘No Mercy’ fought Song Yadong, he chose to walk out to an inspirational beat, in what was the motivational anthem ‘Gonna Fly Now’ by Bill Conti. Psst… This was the same tune that motivated us all while watching Sylvester Stallone’s ‘Rocky’. Before that, when he took on Sean O’Malley at UFC 280, Yan walked out to ‘Warriors Path’ by Drummatix.
And as far as Figueiredo is concerned, he always chooses a Brazilian classic to walk out to. Back in UFC Abu Dhabi when ‘Deus da Guerra’ clashed with Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera, he entered the arena with ‘Voando Pro Para’ by Joelma blaring on the speakers. It was the same song that he walked out to at UFC 300 against Cody Garbrandt. But the Brazilian star also likes to mix up his walkout songs. When he locked horns with Brandon Moreno for the last time at UFC 283, he chose to walk out to ‘Baludao’ by Dkria ft. MC Tikao.

Yan Xiaonan, Tabatha Ricci, Volkan Oezdemir, and others’ walkout songs
Just like the fighters in the main event, Yan Xiaonan also has a habit of switching her walkout songs. At UFC 300, she entered the arena to the tune of ‘Fly Away’ by Jin Zhiwen. Before that, she chose ‘Yuan Zou Gao Fei’ by the same artist. Based on her track record, she does have a liking for Zhiwen’s songs. Can expect ‘Nine’ to step into the Galaxy Arena with one of Zhiwen’s songs blowing on the speakers.
Xiaonan’s opponent, Tabatha Ricci decided on ‘Intro’ by DMX as her walkout track for UFC 295. UFC 285 ensured the fight fans grooved to the tunes of ‘Tellem That I’m Coming’ by Lathan Warlick. It will be interesting what her choice of walk song will be for UFC Fight Night 248.

Volkan Oezdemir, on the other hand, often enjoys walking out to ‘Plugged in Freestyle’ by A29 and Fumez the Engineer. Meanwhile, his opponent, Carlos Ulberg has chosen ‘Conquer’ by SWIDT as his go-to walkout song. Whatever song a fighter chooses, it’s their performance in the Octagon that will matter in the end. Still, having fighters walk out to their songs, to excited crowds before the match is exciting for both fans in attendance, and those watching at home.
