Who is fighting at UFC London 2022?
Alexander Volkov and Aspinall headline the event. Volkov started his MMA career back in 2009. In 2016, he joined the UFC and has had some exciting fights. ‘The Sports Daily‘ listed his total career earnings at $1,587,500. However, his highest UFC pay, excluding bonuses, was $100,000.
‘Drago’ was paid $100,000 to show up at his fights against Marcin Tybura and Ciryl Gane.
The 34-9-0 MMA record holder last fought back in October 2021 and is coming off one win. Thus, the fighter could probably be paid similar figures to his last fight.
On the other hand, Aspinall has just had two losses on his record so far. He started his professional MMA career in 2014. However, he is just four fights old in the UFC. He last fought in September 2021. As per ‘The Sports Daily‘, the fighter was paid $32,000 to show up against Serghei Spivak. Thus, the fighter might pocket a similar amount for his upcoming fight.
There could be more clarity regarding their purses after the event is done.
The event will take place on March 19 at 02 Arena in London, England. This will prove a big fight for Aspinall as it will happen in his country. Thus, the pressure might be big. He is currently on a seven-fight win streak. Out of his last seven victories, he has won six fights through T/KOs and one through submission.

So if the British fighter manages to win once again, it would push him up the rankings quite a bit.
