Chael Sonnen talks about how the beef between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk Started
The former UFC fighter emphasized that the conflict between the two billionaires extended beyond mere words and gestures, stating that there was a public fight occurring. He highlighted that Musk’s challenge to Zuckerberg was not for a trivial game but rather for a sport where inflicting damage is a primary objective.
“They are fighting in public too. Whether they actually get out there and trade hands, there is a public fight going on. Elon Musk challenged him, he didn’t challenge him to a game of horseshoes. He challenged him to a sport that’s number one criteria is damage. He has threatened to damage him, it’s a big deal!”, said Sonnen.
Moreover, Sonnen referenced a significant incident when the Meta CEO’s $200 million satellite failed because of SpaceX. According to the UFC legend, this was the main incident that sparked the beef between them.
“I don’t know people have followed the story. You remember the missile situation? Where reportedly Zuck put like 200 million into a missile and it blew up in space and Elon’s like ‘yeah sorry’ and just moved on. I mean you know where this whole beef started.”, Sonnen chimed in.
