After weighing in on the heavyweight fight between Jones and Miocic, Sonnen emphasized Michael Chandler’s state of mind. He said, “Chandler knows the rumor that he and McGregor are supposed to be fighting in November. He is well aware of that rumor. So when Chandler’s at home and he hears that it’s still Stipe[Miocic] and [Jon]Jones on that card, he’s got to be looking around and going, ‘What about me?'”
On the other hand, McGregor and Chandler will be seen coaching a pack of UFC hopefuls in the 31st installment of ‘The Ultimate Fighter,’ which airs on May 30th on ESPN. The two fighters were initially scheduled to fight after the show’s conclusion, but the date was later switched to happen later this year. However, there is no official confirmation so far.
