Chidi Njokuani vs. Gregory Rodrigues was a brutal matchup that happened back in 2022. Njokuani merciless knee in the first round busted open ‘Robocp’s skull, causing him to bleed profusely from the cut between his eye. The world was so bad that Rodrigues thought that the match was over. White in his latest escapade has reshared the injury once again.

Dana White reminds the fighters about the consequences of MMA

‘Robocop’s injury was bad enough for the doctors and judges to stop the match but fortunately, he was allowed to compete in the match and what followed was a comeback of the year. ‘Robocop’ capitalized on Njokuani’s sloppy movements in the second round and knocked him out. Despite his win, Rodrigues admitted that he was in serious trouble after that knee.

In his latest escapade, Dana White took to his Instagram han͏dle to resha͏re th͏e harrowing experience endured by ‘Robocop.’ The video re͏veals an open wound on͏ ‘Robocop,’ exposing a nerve. Despite securing the victo͏ry, Rodrigues acknowledged being in significant jeopardy following͏ ͏that͏ knee. Luckily, he managed to en͏dure the challenging situation upon receiving calmin͏g inst͏ructions from his cor͏ne͏r. While having a conversation with MMAjunkie, ‘Robocop’ said “I was dizzy, it was very hard,”

He further added “I fell, I was a little like, ‘Man, what happened?’ And then the blood started to come down and I was kind of blind, trying to figure out what I’m going to do. But, like I said, I want to say thank you to my corner, my trainers. They did an amazing job.They started talking with me, and I was like, ‘No, no, no. Let me calm down.’ And I started hearing, ‘Move the legs!’ And stuff like that. And then I tried and then I [went] back, then I thought, ‘Man, I need to start something.”

Gregory Rodrigues’s injury was probably one of the most horrifying injuries in the history of UFC. However, it’s been years since it happened, and ‘Robocop’ has fully healed from that. Dana White must have reshared the image to showcase the consequences of MMA to everyone.
