Does Diana Belbita have a broken arm?
Armbar submissions can deteriorate and even break one’s arm. Subsequently, it becomes necessary to go under the knife if the arm is broken. Moreover, in the case of Belbita, she need not go for surgery as it is reported her arm is not broken. However, according to her, she needs to get an MRI checked on the arm as at the very least there appears to be a ligament tear.
UFC journalist, @aaronbronsteter took to Twitter to report her CT scan being negative, however, the fighter replied, “No broken bone. I have to do an MRI as soon as I get back into Canada. It feels like a torn ligament”
It appears that she might be out of the sport for quite some time. However, injuries are the name of the game and it would be interesting to see how she turns things around for the better. Meanwhile, Belbita is not the only one nursing an injury.
