Conor McGregor never stops being a headliner even when he is not fighting in the UFC. He recently escaped a near-eath experience after getting hit by a car while riding a bicycle. He was lucky to have escaped unharmed after colliding with the car. UFC veteran Michael Bisping reiterated the incident in his podcast, ‘Believe You Me.”
A return to the UFC is on the horizon for Conor McGregor. His last fight inside the octagon was at UFC 264 when he suffered a severe leg injury. However, he recently found himself almost run over by a car. McGregor was lucky to have sustained minor injuries, or else it could have proved detrimental to his UFC return.

‘Notorious’ later took to social media and let his fans know about the situation to assure them of his well-being. However, Michael Bisping believes that his accident wasn’t as dangerous as people think it is.
Bisping thinks that the accident involving Conor McGregor was not a “near-death experience”
Michael Bisping and UFC light heavyweight fighter Anthony Smith talked about Conor McGregor uploading a picture on social media after his accident. The picture shows that he suffered a bruise on his buttocks. However, Bisping believes that it doesn’t look like a serious injury for people to refer to it as a near-death experience. He said, “He had a little scratchy wound. Just a little scratch.”
Bisping then added, “It did not look like …I’m not saying it didn’t happen, but if that’s his equivalent of getting run over by a car, I just feel like he might be stretching the truth a little bit.”
Bisping mentions that he understands and believes that McGregor fell off his bicycle, but it wasn’t as serious as the Irish fighter claimed to be. “I’m sure he tumbled off the bike, you know what I mean. But I don’t think that it was a near-death experience.”

Anthony Smith then talked about Conor McGregor‘s ride back home. The man who hit the former double champion proceeded to drop McGregor at his home. Smith said, “How bad did you feel for the guy that had to give him a ride home with his [McGregor’s] bike in the back of the car?”
McGregor then started to go live on social media and asked the driver about himself. “He says his name, and he’s uncomfortable and I felt so bad for that guy,” said Anthony Smith.
