Daniel Cormier was talking to Super Bowl Champion Ryan Clarke. The two of them were discussing the Israel Adesanya vs Alex Pereira fight. DC disclosed an old quote from Israel Adesanya that he claimed might be the reason for Alex Pereira coming back to the UFC.

Cormier said to Ryan Clarke that Alex Pereira was not even in the UFC when Israel Adesanya said things that Alex Pereira would not have liked much. Cormier said, “it’s crazy because Alex kind of stopped fighting MMA, and Izzy when asked about this guy a few years ago said ‘I’ve never ever watched any of his fights he told us the sport in news Australia at the end of the day no one knows who the F he is and he’s going to be that guy when I’m the world champion when I’m a legend he’s going to be at some pub talking about I beat him once.'”

Alex Pereira follows Israel Adesanya and beats him

Alex Pereira had earlier beaten Israel Adesanya twice in kickboxing fights. Before the event, reporters and media had asked Adesanya multiple times about the two losses, especially the knockout. Adesanya had dismissed all speculations of the losses being on his mind and said he had dealt with it.

Alex Pereira has now completed his hat-trick of victories over Adesanya, now with this victory.

Daniel Cormier Jokes about Adesanya going to PGA

Daniel Cormier joked about Alex Pereira following Adesanya in the PGA and defeating him. He also mentioned that these three victories don’t make Alex Pereira a better fighter. However, it shows that he can know how to finish Adesanya. Cormier said “what is happening with Pereira he saw that Izzy could be the man and goes you know what if he can do it I can do it.”
