UFC Fight Night: Santos vs Walker will feature a middleweight clash between Kevin Holland and Kyle Daukaus go down in the middleweight division of the UFC. ‘Trailblazer’ is finally back and will look to put on a show for the fans yet again against a dangerous opponent in Daukaus.
Holland is currently on a 2-fight skid. A decision loss to Derek Brunson ended his phenomenal 5-fight win streak. He then lost yet another decision against Marvin Vettori. The common thing in both of these fights has been Holland’s weakness in his takedown defense, and both his opponents made the most of it.

Daukaus, on the other hand, has won 3 out of his last 5 fights. He last lost a decision against Phil Hawes in May. Much like Holland, he is a former alumnus of the Dana White’s Contender Series show.

Kevin Holland vs Kyle Daukaus: Analysis
Daukaus is certainly a great submission specialist, while Holland has been submitted in his UFC career before. That might be a case of concern. But, Holland has since been working on his ground game. It will be interesting to see his progress as a grappler as well.

Holland is a very good striker. He has an unorthodox approach and is more than capable of folding opponents with his right hand. Also, considering his experience, he might just be able to do that and earn a T/KO finish in his favor against Kyle Daukaus this weekend.
