What’s at stake for Brandon Moreno and Steve Erceg?

Moreno finally secured a win over Amir Albazi after losing the flyweight championship title and going on a 2-fight losing streak. A win over Erceg at UFC Fight Night 256 would possibly get him a shot against the current champion, Alexandre Pantoja.

Needless to say, that would be the perfect moment for Moreno to exact revenge on ‘The Cannibal’. With the title shot on the line, Moreno could do his best as the #3 flyweight contender.

On the other hand, Erceg has also slipped down the rankings. ‘Astroboy’ was stopped in his quest for the UFC championship title by Pantoja at UFC 301. Following that, he faced a loss against Kai Kara-France. And Erceg went down to the 8th spot in the flyweight rankings. A win against ‘The Assassin Baby’ would definitely get him on the top 5 list. This means a rematch against the Pantoja for the title won’t be far away.

Who do you think would win the main event at UFC Fight Night 256? Do you think Pantoja needs to worry about that? Let us know what you think in the comments down below.
