UFC Fight Night: Gane vs Volkov will see a heavyweight clash between Tanner Boser and Ovince Saint Preux go down in the co-main event of the card. Both heavyweights are currently coming off the back of losses. Saint Preux will make his return to the division after suffering a disappointing loss to Jamahal Hill in his last contest at light-heavyweight.
Boser has won only 2 out of his last 5 fights. Defeats against Ciryl Gane, Andrei Arlovski, and Ilir Latifi have overshadowed finishes over Philipe Lins and Raphael Pessoa. The 29-year-old Canadian dropped a split decision against Latifi in his last outing. Hence, ‘The Bulldozer’ will be determined to get back to winning ways when he fights OSP this weekend.
A UFC veteran, Saint Preux has been with the company since 2013. The former Strikeforce fighter will make his 24th appearance inside the Octagon this weekend against Boser, who will make his seventh appearance.

Tanner Boser vs Ovince Saint Preux: Analysis
Boser was outclassed in the grappling department in his last fight against Latifi. He was controlled on the ground for a considerable amount of time. However, one might argue that ‘OSP’ doesn’t necessarily possess the same sort of strength and grappling accolades as Latifi.

As Saint Preux has looked very chinny in his recent fights, it seems like it only takes only one clean shot these days to finish him. Also, he doesn’t possess the same sort of fluidity and power to his offerings anymore. Overall, he has become a hesitant fighter.
Boser might capitalize on that and eventually crack ‘OSP‘ early to get a first-round finish over the 38-year-old via T/KO.
