The fans gave their verdict upon seeing ‘The Hulk’ get a win over ‘The Bulldozer’. The debut of Cutelaba at 206 pounds saw him knock out the Canadian fighter. However, the light heavyweight fighter certainly relished his opportunity with an impressive KO.

The fans felt that the referee stopped the fight early and made their voices heard on Twitter. Some MMA and UFC personalities also gave their opinion on the controversial stoppage by the referee.

What happened in the fight between Ion Cutelaba and Tanner Boser?

The fight delivered as promised for the fans with the light heavyweight bout. The round started with both fighters engaging in striking in order to find openings and gain an advantage. Nevertheless, Cutelaba made his strikes do the talking as he knocked down ‘The Bulldozer’ in the first round itself.

Additionally, after rocking him, ‘The Hulk’ took him down to the ground. The ultimate finish that Cutelaba was looking for came via a ground-and-pound TKO  as the referee stopped the fight halfway through the first round.
