UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs Till will see a heavyweight match-up between Tom Aspinall and Sergey Spivak go down in the co-main event of the card. Both fighters are currently riding an impressive winning streak. Each will look to enter the upper echelon of the division with yet another win this weekend.

The fight against Spivak will be the Englishman Aspinall’s fourth fight in the UFC. He has won all 3 of his fights in the promotion so far, all by finishing his opponent. T/KO finishes against Jake Collier and Alan Baudot and a submission win against Andrei Arlovski in February has given the 28-year-old a brilliant start to his career in the UFC.

Spivak, on the other hand, has fought 6 times in the UFC so far. ‘The Polar Bear’ has racked up 4 wins in the meantime inside the octagon. The 26-year-old Moldovan earned a decision over Alexey Oleinik in his last fight. Walt Harris and Marcin Tybura are the only fighters to hand losses to Spivak in his UFC career so far.

Aspinall has a professional record of 10-2. All of his 10 wins have been via finishes so far. 8 T/KO and 2 submission wins comprise those impressive stats for him.

Spivak’s record stands at 13-2. He has 11 finishes in his career so far. 5 T/KO and 6 submission wins are the highlights of his MMA career.

Tom Aspinall vs Sergey Spivak: Analysis

Aspinall has extremely fast hands for a heavyweight. His speed and accuracy have overwhelmed most of his opponents in his career. The tally of 8 T/KO finishes is a testament to the same.

But Spivak is very well-rounded as well. He has good striking and a solid grappling base to fall back on in case needed. That might cause some problems for Aspinall. However, we expect the British heavyweight to emerge victorious using the advantages he holds in the stand-up department.
