UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs Till will see a welterweight match-up between Alex Morono and David Zawada go down on the main card. Both fighters will be determined to get a win and catapult to the upper echelon of the welterweight division of the UFC.

A UFC veteran since 2016, Morono will look to add a second successive W to his record this weekend against Zawada. After his loss to Anthony Pettis, Morono returned to winning ways with a knockout win against Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone in May. ‘The Great White’ will be determined to build on the momentum with yet another win.

Zawada, on the other hand, is coming off a split decision loss against Ramazan Emeev. In fact, ‘Sagat’ has won only 1 out of 4 fights in the UFC. A submission win against Abubakar Nurmagomedov in 2019 is his only triumph inside the UFC octagon.

Morono has a professional record of 19-7. The 31-year-old has 12 finishes under his belt so far. 6 T/KO and 6 submission wins comprise those numbers for him. Zawada’s record is at 17-6. The German fighter has 15 finishes, courtesy of 11 T/KO and 4 submission wins.

If Morono can capitalize on that and impose his recent impressive form yet again, remains to be seen. His confidence is at an all-time high at the moment after stopping a veteran like Cerrone in his last fight as well.

So, that momentum might play to Morono’s advantage in this fight and he might just be able to overwhelm Zawada and get a decision win in his favor ultimately.
