The UFC fighters who fought at UFC Fight 221 were able to take home UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay totaling $194,000 and the program passed a total of $16 million. The program replaces the prior payments made under the UFC athlete outfitting policy and is a complete plan that includes outfitting requirements, media commitments, and other aspects under the fighter code of conduct.
UFC Fight Night 221 took place at The Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas. They broadcast the entire fight of the night on ESPN+. The main bout of the event was between Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili, and the co-main event was between Alexander Volkov and Alexander Romanov. The UFC boss made sure that he brings an exciting fight card and the fans were able to witness some thrilling bouts, which indeed resulted in the success of the event.

As per the reports of MMA Junkie, the main event fighters Yan and Dvalishvili received an amount of $11,000 as the UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance payment. The other fighters who received the same amount are Alexander Volkov, Jonathan Martinez, Davey Grant, and JJ Aldrich.
The light heavyweight Nikita ‘The Miner’ Krylov received $16,000, which is the second-highest pay. However, the highest payout of $21,000 was for Raphael Assuncao, who lost the bout against Davey Grant in round three via an inverted triangle choke. The rest of the fighter’s promotional guidelines compliance pay lies between $6000 and $4000.
Dana White makes every event a huge success
The major factor that determines the amount each fighter receives is the number of UFC bouts they have fought. Fighters who have fought one to three bouts will receive $4,000 for each bout. Fighters who have fought four to five bouts get $4,500; the amount paid is raised to $6,000 for fighters who have already fought six to 10 bouts. Moreover, the fighters who have fought eleven to fifteen bouts earn $ 11,000, and it is $16,000 for sixteen to twenty bouts.
Fighters who have stayed in the UFC for a long time and have fought more than twenty-one fights in the promotion will receive an amount of $21,000. The numbers are much higher when it comes to champions and title challengers. The champions earn a whopping $42,000, and the challengers will receive an amount of $32,000.

There is no doubt that UFC president Dana White knows how to make a profit from each event. The record-breaking pay of the year was achieved at UFC 283, totaling $ 359,500. Thus, the entire program-to-date total is a whopping $16,153, 000.
