The richest MMA fighter on the planet, Conor McGregor, made a name for himself with his exceptionally striking abilities. The same striking abilities propelled him to the status of the two-division simultaneous champion in the UFC. However, the fans in a recently resurfaced video could spot a younger version of the Irishman mastering a unique skill set.

In the recently resurfaced, rare footage, the Dublin-born fighter was sparring with an opponent while polishing his BJJ skills.

‘Notorious’ last graced the Octagon in July 2021 when he exchanged blows in the trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. However, this fight turned out to be a horrendous affair for McGregor as he snapped his leg and therefore lost the fight via the doctor’s stoppage.

The 34-year-old fighter is currently on a two-loss streak and, notably, both the losses came against ‘Diamond. Also, the former UFC champion is 1-3 in his last 4 outings in the Octagon.

Significantly, his last victory in UFC came against Cowboy Cerrone at UFC 246, which he picked up after his career-highlight fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Since his last first against Poirier, the 22-6 record holder is eyeing a comeback in the first half of the next year.
