‘Notorious’ last graced the Octagon in July 2021 when he exchanged blows in the trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. However, this fight turned out to be a horrendous affair for McGregor as he snapped his leg and therefore lost the fight via the doctor’s stoppage.
The 34-year-old fighter is currently on a two-loss streak and, notably, both the losses came against ‘Diamond. Also, the former UFC champion is 1-3 in his last 4 outings in the Octagon.

Significantly, his last victory in UFC came against Cowboy Cerrone at UFC 246, which he picked up after his career-highlight fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Since his last first against Poirier, the 22-6 record holder is eyeing a comeback in the first half of the next year.
