The beloved UFC color commentator, Joe Rogan, is not only known for his podcast and commentary but also for his hyping game. Without a doubt, when one is so closely associated with the fights on the Octagon, getting mesmerized is the most obvious thing. However, Rogan seemingly gets amazed by the performance of the fighters. One such name that didn’t fail to grab the podcaster’s attention was Justin Gaethje.

In episode #1946 of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, the 55-year-old podcaster revealed his thoughts on Gaethje’s first impressions in the UFC. Unquestionably, the color commentator believed that the former PFL champion was one of the most violent fighters. However, Gaethje wasn’t the only warrior who got hold of Rogan’s attention.

During the recent episode of JRE, Rogan invited Ari Shaffir, Mark Normand, and Shane Gillis to the podcast set. During the talks, Normand talked about one fight he thought was the best. Doubtlessly, the color commentator agreed with his guest’s opinion and admitted that the fight was indeed a great one. However, the men were taken by surprise when Rogan revealed it was Gaethje’s first fight in the UFC. He revealed that ‘The Highlight’ was previously a champion at PFL. Moreover, the JRE host also disclosed the first impression made by the current #3 in the UFC lightweight division.

However, Gaethje isn’t the only fighter who impressed Rogan. A welterweight fighter’s quick rise in the division also captured the commentator’s attention.
