Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka should undergo more USADA tests, according to Daniel Cormier. The statement sounds absurd, given Prochazka’s recent revelation that the agency tested him around 65 times in 2022. However, Cormier’s argument has another logic to support it.
The Czech samurai had to pull out of his title defense against Glover Teixeira at UFC 282 because of a nasty shoulder injury. Subsequently, the 30-year-old vacated his LHW title, too.

In a recent interview, the former champion claimed that USADA visits were less frequent following his vacating the title. He also mentioned that he could be back sooner than predicted. While Prochazka was grateful, the same did not sit well with former champion Daniel Cormier.
Daniel Cormier stated USADA should test Jiri Prochazka more
Recently, on his YouTube channel, Cormier had a chat with retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren. During their conversation, the Hall of Famer made his claim that USADA should keep an eye on Prochazka more.
Cormier admitted it was crazy for USADA to test someone 65 times. However, he believed it was because “either he’s super clean or they’re trying to catch him dirty.” The 43-year-old continued, “I’m saying test him more when he’s not the champion when he’s not competing. Because guys are more inclined to cheat when they’re away from the spotlight.”
Cormier expressed his frustration with the testing agency going easy on Prochazka after he vacated the title, after testing him an insane number of times in 2022.
“He said they’re testing me less, so thank USADA for not showing up as much. I think that’s a problem,” the former Olympic wrestler said.

Following his take on Prochazka and USADA, DC went on a rant against rival Jon Jones. However, his choice of words backfired as fans called him out for being salty against his former rival.
What Cormier said about Jon Jones
While discussing Prochazka, Cormier mentioned Jones, who has a history of positive PED tests. The former two-weight champion pointed out the irony in Jones having fewer tests than Prochazka, who never tested positive.

He said, “Where are his damn tests? I mean, why is he not the most tested? Why are you testing Jiri Prochazka more than you’re testing this guy who has a history of having these types of issues?”
‘Bones’ is currently preparing for his heavyweight debut and is looking the part of a heavyweight. His dedicated fan base did not let Cormier get away with these jabs and called him out for not getting over his losses to Jones.
