Conor McGregor is still one of the biggest names and draws in the UFC. ‘The Notorious’ draws attention from fighters and fans all around the world. The ‘PPV king’ will certainly be any fighter’s dream opponent if one needs to get some green in their pockets. This is, of course, not a surprise as all famous fighters and champions are eager to step into the octagon with ‘Mystic Mac’. However, one UFC champion has some either intentions as he provides McGregor with one condition for him getting the title shot. Some may say it’s reasonable and fair, but the UFC champion has certainly made a brave choice.
Leon Edwards might have a challenge for Conor McGregor
Leon Edwards was in an interview with ‘TalkSports’ wherein he shared what he felt about his Paradigm Sports member Conor McGregor. Edwards revealed if it is easy for him to get in the octagon against Conor McGregor due to the fighters sharing the same agency. ‘Rocky’ replied, “Yeah, we’ve got to say the management team as well… Easier [It makes Leon Edwards to fight Conor McGregor]. Easier, we’re both are and all that for negotiations”

However, the UFC welterweight champion also added that Conor McGregor might not be in a condition to fight right away. He said, “But Conor Haven’t been fought for two-three years. He has had an injury. So let him come.”
Furthermore, Edwards laid down a clear path for McGregor regarding what he needs to do to get a shot at the UFC welterweight title. He added, “let him come back when he wins the fight at my weight because naturally he is a lightweight and I’m a welterweight. So let him comeback and win a fight at my weight then maybe we can talk.”
Leon Edwards also answered if he wants to fight ‘The Notorious’ inside the Octagon. He said, “I don’t need to fight him now… But yeah, I’ll fight any man in the UFC.”

Edwards has to face Kamaru Usman in order to fight Conor McGregor
‘Rocky’ defends his UFC welterweight title against former champion Kamaru Usman at UFC 286 in London. In order to fight McGregor, Edwards needs to get past ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’. However, the former champion will be looking to take revenge against the current champ as both fighters look to win the trilogy.
