Unfortunately, his next bout against Stipe Miocic didn’t go as planned as Miocic dominated Ngannou with his wrestling skills and won the bout. Ngannou further added to his losing streak after facing the likes of Derrick Lewis in his next match.
But instead of giving up, Francis Ngannou proved the haters wrong by going on another six-fight win streak. He defeated top contenders – Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos while also claiming the title in a revenge bout against rival Miocic.
However, as for what’s next for the champion, he will probably face off against Jon Jones in a super fight. Dana White has hinted at this multiple times in the past, and we could very well see this come to fruition.
