Two of the biggest names in combat sports, Joe Rogan and Ariel Helwani, recently got involved in a beef. A comment by the UFC color commentator sparked a new chapter in their rivalry. While the UFC personnel accused the journalist of making people say things, the comment didn’t sit well with Helwani. As a result, the former ESPN associate ripped the famed podcaster apart in a series of comments. The fans thus might not be expecting an end to the rivalry any time soon. Jumping on the bandwagon, UFC champion Aljamain Sterling also expressed his opinion on the raging back-and-forth rivalry.

Thus, Sterling, at 22-3, wrote, “This was really weird… They both have conversations with people.”

“One is looking for scoops, history, or potential viral clip moments, and to sometimes tell a story. The other is talking to people and not always having a clue about anything the guest is an expert in,” he added later on.

The comment can be inferred to refer to Rogan as the first and Helwani as the latter.

Ariel Helwani’s scathing comments about Rogan

The 40-year-old, in his response, claimed that the standup comic pushed false narratives and information. In addition, the Montreal-born mentioned how people demanded Rogan‘s ban from Spotify.

Following this, The MMA Hour host then called him ‘Dana’s boy’ and mentioned that the UFC kingpin got Rogan‘s back.
