Israel Adesanya shares his struggles in overcoming mental health issues

Israel Adesanya recently took to his Twitter handle to let his followers know about how he is trying to beat his social anxiety. He said, “Once in a while, I’m in public gyms, because I have to get my power back from the people. Set boundaries, kill social anxiety while tryna work out, I empathize with hot chicks at the gym, iykyk. Shoutout the real ones who just smile and wave, appreciate yous. #Mentoo.” Taking training in public gyms is a kind of coping mechanism for the UFC middleweight champion.

 

After mentioning how he goes to public gyms to overcome social anxiety, he also asked the fans to watch his documentary ‘Stylebender.’ He commented under the post, “When you watch my film, you’ll get the picture.” Fans can better understand the life of the UFC middleweight champion by watching his movie, ‘Stylebender,” directed by Zoe Macintosh. On several occasions, Adesanya mentioned that his movie opens up about his vulnerabilities.
