UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya surprised fans with an unexpected take on Andrew Tate. During a recent interview, the two-time UFC champion gave his thoughts on the controversial internet figure. His comments surprised a number of fans, given that many feel Adesanya has a personality that does not agree with Tate’s ideology. Several fans also pointed this out in their responses. However, ‘Izzy’ had a different perspective on the subject and even quoted figures like Jordan Peterson for the same.
Adesanya is still reveling in his victory over longtime rival, Alex Pereira. At UFC 287, ‘Stylebender’ beat ‘Poatan’ via a knockout, securing his first win against the Brazilian in their 7-year-long rivalry. The 33-year-old has been living it up since finally beating his biggest rival.
While many fans congratulated his mental fortitude in beating someone who held three wins over him, his take on Tate has him out of favor with many. So what exactly did Adesanya say?

In a short clip shared on Twitter, we can see Israel Adesanya share his thoughts on Andrew Tate and Jordan Peterson. Both Tate and Peterson are sworn enemies of the woke culture and the liberal left, owing to their takes on many mainstream issues including masculinity.
Adesanya said, “Jordan, Andrew, Dave Goggins, guys like that, they are the ones who are really pushing men to be accountable as men. You know, the world right now is trying to soften us.”

He recalled a Peterson anecdote where kings of old would deal with a revolt by getting rid of the young fighting men under their rule. Adesanya believed that the modern attempts to “soften” men were an alternative to the same.
He said that the aim of these attempts was to “make them feel emasculated.” The New Zealander also pointed out how fighting brings people together despite their differences. He added that it was how the world should be.
