It’s not new in the history of UFC where fighters are removed from the roster for their lackluster fights. The greatest UFC fighters have admitted that what matters in the promotion is how many eyeballs a fighter can earn. Furthermore, the relevance of a fighter depends upon their popularity, and popularity is something that comes with power pact fights. The fans highly criticized UFC Vegas 69 for not being able to entertain the audience. Many unexpected victories took place, but none of the fights were able to take the fans to the edge of their seats. Before the dust of UFC Vegas could settle, they announced that two fighters from the light heavyweight division were removed due to poor performances and losing streaks.
William Knight and Jordan Wright no longer have a place on the UFC roster
The two fighters removed from the heavyweight division are William Knight and Jordan Wright. Additionally, on the Twitter page of UFC Roster Watch it is informed that Lina Lansberg was also removed due to retirement. This makes a total of three fighters removed from the promotion for just not being able to do well. The MMA reporter, Damon Martin, took to Twitter to inform followers that the light heavyweights are no longer on the UFC roster.

‘The Knightmare’ has a record of eleven victories and five losses. In UFC Vegas 69, he lost to Marcin Prachnio via unanimous decision. Furthermore, he showcased one of the worst performances in the history of the promotion. During the fight, Knight was only able to land eight strikes out of the thirty-three strikes that he aimed at his opponent, Prachino.
The fighters are on a losing streak
Jordan Wright, on the other hand, performed far better than Knight; however, being a free agent, UFC decided to remove him from the promotion. The loss at UFC Vegas 69 was the fourth consecutive loss for Wright. In the bout against Zac Pauga, he lost via unanimous decision in round three. ‘The Beverly Hills Ninja’ was able to land only 29 strikes from the 78 he threw.
