The number 15 ranked Avila snapped a four-fight win streak with her most recent defeat that came to Sijara Eubanks. The unanimous decision loss somewhat halted her streaking momentum, and she’ll be keen to re-assert her position. Furthermore, ‘Raging Panda’ has an exciting fighting style that will keep her relevant in the division, so long as she scalps wins.
Julia Avila came into the UFC off the back of an Invicta FC resume, and she’s certainly been tested in her nascent career. The 8-2 fighter has fought names like Nicco Montano and Gina Mazany, who have been around the block. Avila has shown that she’s well-rounded in the cage and on the mic, and she’ll be looking for a breakout.

Her prior resume as a champion is perhaps what’s given her another big-time opportunity against Avila. She will be keen to put the loss against Yana Kunitskaya behind her and focus on dismantling ‘Raging Panda’.
