It’s finally here! The UFC’s first PPV card of 2025 will take place this Saturday- but just barely. With Arman Tsarukyan pulling out of his main event title bout at the eleventh hour, the whole card was in trouble. Thankfully, Renato Moicano, who was fighting on the same card, stepped up and will now fight Islam Makhachev for the lightweight title.

Apart from the fights, an integral part of any UFC event that helps set the stage and create hype is the walkout. The choice of walkout music usually gives an idea about the state of mind and the intentions of a fighter. In this article, we take a look at the songs the stars on UFC 311 may choose to make their walkout to.

Islam Makhachev likes to stick to one walkout song, which he has used almost every time since his promotional debut more than a decade ago. This song is ‘Dreams’ by DJ Nariman Ajikalov, which is actually a vocal-less version of Tamila Sagaipova’s ‘My Nanak’. His short-notice opponent, Renato Moicano, too has settled on one song and uses groovy tunes of ‘Isaac’ by Edson Gomes to set the mood for his fights.

In the co-main event, Merab Dvalishvili will defend his bantamweight title for the first time since winning it spectacularly last year. For most of his UFC stint, ‘The Machine’ stuck to one walkout track- the Georgian song, ‘Midi, Midi, Movdivar’ by the artist Nicolshow. But for his last fight at UFC 306, he instead used the Georgian folk song, ‘Samshoblo’ in a clear tribute to his homeland.

Surprisingly, Dvalishvili’s UFC 311 opponent, Umar Nurmagomedov, who is Dagestani, also uses a song from ‘The Machine’s homeland and walks to the Octagon to the electric tunes of ‘Georgian Dance Music’. Now let us take a look at which songs the other stars may walk out to.

Which song will Jamahal Hill, Jiri Prochazka, and other stars walk out to?

What’s your perspective on:

Will Renato Moicano's last-minute heroics against Islam Makhachev lead to an unforgettable UFC 311 showdown?

Have an interesting take?

Jamahal Hill and Jiri Prochzka will finally meet in the Octagon for what promises to be an absolute barn burner of a light heavyweight clash. Hill, of course, last fought at UFC 300, where he got knocked out by Alex Pereira, and hopes that a victory at UFC 311 will help him secure a rematch with the champ.

Hill likes to mix up his walkout songs and isn’t the one to stick to a single track. For his UFC 300 clash against Pereira, for example, the former champ walked out to Drake and Lil Wayne’s ‘Miss Me’. Which song ‘Sweet Dreams’ will walk out to at UFC 311, however, remains unknown.

Like Hill, Prochazka too has used a bunch of songs to make his entrance to the Octagon. While he has used the theme from Dwayne Johnson-led ‘Black Adam’ and ‘In The City’ by Kevin Rudolf, he has favored the Indie rock anthem ‘Legends Are Made’ by Sam Tinnesz. Kevin Holland, who will take on UFC PPV debutante Reinier de Ridder on the main card also likes to surprise fans with different entrance music.

The UFC vet has used WWE superstar The Undertaker’s theme by Jim Johnston, ‘Tell Me’ by MGF Bandit, and NBA Youngboy’s ‘Ghost’ previously and may use still another track at UFC 311. Which walkout song is your favorite?
