As McGregor prepares to return at UFC 303, the number of fans who want to attend the event is sky-high. A recent report published by Forbes shared the exact details of the average ticket price. The report read, “The high ticket prices have contributed to UFC 303’s whopping live gate (ticket sales), which is “already way over $20 million.”

The cheapest ticket for the fight is $1,084 and the most expensive is $42,427. Not only that, the Forbes report also reveals that the event would mark the highest ticket sales ever recorded for any event in the UFC if it indeed exceeds a $20 million live gate. The current record for the highest ticket sales ever in a UFC event is $17.7 million. It was achieved in 2016 for UFC 205.

There have been speculations recently of the fight between McGregor and Chandler falling off. But Michael Chandler himself feels the fight will take place at UFC 303.

Michael Chandler has patiently waited for over two years to face the Dubliner. The pair was scheduled to lock horns in November last year but the fight never materialized for multiple reasons. Despite Dana White announcing the fight at UFC 303, the rumors after the canceled press conference forced the fans to believe that the fight might just be called off. But Chandler doesn’t think so.

While speaking to Ryan Clark, ‘Iron’ shared that he never got an offer for a different fight. He also added that the UFC remained in constant touch with him, giving him updates about the fight. Chandler further claimed that even McGregor wants the fight and said, “If it was the UFC wanting me to get off the Conor McGregor versus Chandler bandwagon, they could have very easily been like ‘hey, this guy’s hurt, we need you to step in. You want to step in?’ I never got one of those phone calls so that to me says it’s the fight that the UFC wants.”
