What’s cooking at UFC once again? Dana White seems to be in Conor McGregor‘s home nation after the comeback fiasco. The anticipated clash between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler fell off like a house of cards at the start of this month when the UFC canceled the UFC 303 press conference in Dublin. Soon after, ‘Mystic Mac’ informed that he had to pull out due to injuries.

Dana White, who saved UFC 303 at the last minute, was absurdly upset with the events that took place and refused to take any questions about the matter. The UFC supremo was busy managing the situation as after the McGregor-Chandler announcement, multiple fights fell apart. Regardless, the CEO seems to be in the Republic of Ireland shocking everyone.

Dana White sparks intrigue with his Ireland visit

The UFC head took to his Instagram handle to share a rather unexpected story. He uploaded a video in his stories with 3 words that have raged enough speculations within the MMA community. What are the words you ask? Well, he wrote, “What’s up Ireland.” The reason for his visit is yet to be known, but one thing’s for sure- the fact that the visit might involve Conor McGregor.

Will we be witnessing Conor McGregor’s comeback again as White is now in Ireland? Is he there for negotiations or something? The happening of these incidents is likely but not certain. The UFC head honcho has already stated that McGreor’s return will be scripted by him whenever he wants. He stated this while having a conversation with Jim Rome.

“Conor McGregor – maybe he’ll fight again, maybe he won’t. You never know with some of the guys that get to that level. You never know when you’re going to see them again,” said Dana White.

Well, McGregor has injured himself in his buildup for the clash but is it true that he has injured or there’s more to it? Certain rumors floated that the former dual-weight champion pulled out of the match because he was not happy with what the UFC was offering him as fees, however, White’s recent statement has quashed this claim.

White made sure that Conor McGregor was really injured

Well, things would have been different if UFC 303 would have had McGregor and Chandler. Interestingly, after his pullout, rumors floated around that the former dual-weight champion withdrew from the match as he was demanding more money after witnessing the massive inflow of revenue.

However, this rumor was quashed by Dana White, “Conor McGregor… I’ve said it many times before and I’ll say it again, Conor McGregor has never done that. Conor McGregor never leads up to a fight and tries to renegotiate a contract or get more money. He’s never even done anything remotely close to that. He is as solid as solid can be, when it comes to being a business partner. Conor McGregor is hurt right now, it’s absolutely real. Yeah, no, he’s never done anything like that.” said Dana White in a conversation with Jim Rome
