UFC 300 lived up to its hype, as promised by UFC CEO Dana White. The event witnessed some of the best fighters put on a show for the fans. One such fight was the lightweight battle between Renato Moicano and Jalin Turner. Moicano won the fight via knockout in the second round, thus claiming an important victory.

There are very few lightweights in the division that possess the striking ability of Moicano. The Brazilian is currently on a three-fight winning streak. His consistent performances inside the Octagon have caught the attention of many fans and experts. After his UFC 300 win, he is now ranked as the #10 lightweight fighter in the UFC. But it seems that the 34-year-old expected a higher ranking after his KO win.

He took to X to comment, “Money Moicano number 10… Max Holloway number 9!? No f..k that he would beat me up”. Moicano took a slight dig at the current BMF champion Max Holloway in his comments. Holloway’s performance at UFC 300 is one of the most memorable performances ever witnessed.

Despite walking into the fight as an underdog, ‘Blessed’ silenced his critics with his grit and attitude. But why is Moicano upset with the BMF champion?

When Dana White claimed that “UFC 300 is the greatest combat sports card ever assembled,” he was correct. The fight card featured some of the best fighters in the division. However, the battle between Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway stole the show. Despite winning four rounds out of five, ‘Blessed’ wanted to knock out the former champion. He indeed knocked him out in the last seconds of the final round. After his dominating performance, John Morgan shared a report on X.

The report read, “No surprise, but Max Holloway (@BlessedMMA) is a massive winner in the latest rankings update following #UFC300. He moves up six spots in the pound-for-pound rankings to No. 8, remains the No. 2-ranked featherweight in the promotion, and debuts on the lightweight list at No. 9.”
